HomePlate youth services gave this homeless teen stability: Giving thanks

It never ceases to amaze me that people who've been dealt the harshest blows in life often seem to have the most grateful spirit. Maybe it's a quality common to mankind, but it seems we just need to be asked, invited to take a moment to reflect, and we will find something to be thankful for. For the second year in a row, I've worked on a Thanksgiving project to find out what the people I bump into on any given day are grateful for. Here is what I've learned.
