Board Member
Olivia Alcaire, she/her/ella
Olivia Alcaire has 25+ years working in higher education, and 20+ working for nonprofits in the Portland Metro area. Olivia has served on Hillsboro City Council since 2017, and is finishing her final year in 2026. Olivia enjoys supporting students entering, transferring, completing education goals, and graduating. Olivia's political work focuses on affordable housing, resolving homelessness, and prison reform. Olivia has worked with homeless folks through Community Action and supports shelters sponsored by the City of Hillsboro and WashCo. Olivia's time in corrections education opened a doorway into the complex world of how prison systems work, and what challenges prior adults in custody may face post release. Olivia is focused on uplifting communities through board and committee work. Olivia loves Oregon forests and beaches, gardening, drawing/coloring, reading, and some cooking. Olivia loves Oregon, and cares about climate change. One of Olivia's favorite authors, Barry Lopez, reminds us of the relationship between humans and animals, and the ongoing need to protect our ecosystems for our survival.

Lacey Beaty, she/her
Mayor Lacey Beaty is a dynamic leader with a deep commitment to public service, equity, and community building. Elected as the first female mayor of Beaverton in 2020, she has since made significant strides in improving housing affordability, enhancing veterans’ services, and creating a more bikeable and walkable city. A U.S. Army veteran who served in the Iraq War, Mayor Beaty has used her platform to advocate strongly for veteran causes at both the state and national levels. Her leadership was crucial in the passage of Oregon’s HB 2295, which prioritizes veteran-owned businesses in state contracting, and her advocacy led to impactful changes in HUD rules regarding housing vouchers for veterans.
She has championed policies that focus on housing, sustainability, and accessibility, ensuring that Beaverton remains affordable and inclusive for all residents. Her work has earned her a place on the Advisory Board of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, further elevating her role in shaping national policy discussions.

Marie Boman-Davis PhD, MPH, she/her
Marie identifies as a mission-driven health equity leader committed to transformational changes and power-sharing to co-create systems, policies and practices grounded in belonging so that social constructs such as race, gender, and ability are no longer primary indicators of success and wellness in society.
Over the past 25+ years, Boman-Davis’ public health career has spanned across community, research, academic and government settings. She is trained in Trauma Informed Care and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Boman-Davis’ top Gallup CliftonStrength is “restorative” which means she thrives on solving complex problems.

Chris Cannon, He/Him
Chris brings 15+ years of experience in the mission-driven sector, including his early experience as an Executive Director of a growing nonprofit in Ghana, West Africa. This pivotal experience helped shape both his educational and professional aspirations, eventually leading him to a career in executive recruiting and nonprofit consulting as well as board and volunteer service. With previous national nonprofit search experience as an Engagement Manager at Waldron, Senior Associate at NPAG, and as a search consultant to both nonprofits and client service organizations, he is eager to work with clients of all sizes and issue areas. His work includes engagements with Stanford Law School, Disability Rights CA, Skoll Foundation, Water for People, Landesa, the Katz Amsterdam Foundation, LOR Foundation, Raikes Foundation, Treehouse, A Way Home WA, the American Indian Graduate Center, CA State Bar, and the CT Coalition to End Homelessness.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Communications minor and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. During graduate school, he oversaw a student-led consulting firm that advised family foundations and corporations on grantmaking and impact assessments. Chris now resides in Portland, OR with his husband, daughter, and cuddly cat named Norah. In his free time, Chris enjoys photography, cooking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest’s beautiful wine country.

Spencer Erhman, he/him
Spencer Ehrman is Board Treasurer of HomePlate Youth Services. A native of Portland, he learned from his family of the importance of community service. While living in Seattle, Spencer served as a CASA volunteer and since returning to the Portland area has served on 5 nonprofit boards and is a former member of the Beaverton Human Rights Advisory Commission. Spencer is a retired commercial insurance broker.

Brian Golembiewski, he/him
Brian Golembiewski (he/him) is a Senior Product Manager in AMD’s Data Center GPU business unit. He has 20 years of experience in tech. Outside of work, Brian is passionate about supercomputers, distance running, his pets Kuiper (a whippet) and Bort (a tuxedo cat), and HomePlate. Brian has been involved with HomePlate as a volunteer since 2008. He has also served on HomePlate’s board since 2010. He’s proud to have been a small part of this amazing organization’s growth from one employee working out of a literal storage closet in a church basement to where it is today. And if you want to hear a humdinger of a story, ask Brian about driving in a presidential motorcade in 2022.

Jacen Greene, he/him
Jacen’s career has focused on innovation for social benefit. He co-founded the Homelessness Research & Action Collaborative at Portland State University (PSU), and previously designed and managed social innovation programs in PSU's School of Business. Jacen has written two books along with many chapters, articles, reports, and case studies on homelessness, sustainable business, and social innovation. He has delivered workshops for Mercy Corps, the Fulbright Program, and AmeriCorps, and has presented at national and international conferences. Jacen graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with an MBA in sustainability from Portland State University and magna cum laude with a B.A. in China Studies from Willamette University. He has worked or taught in Uganda, Tunisia, India, China, Cambodia, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Heather Griffo, she/her
Heather Griffo (she/her) teaches business and serves as faculty department chair at Portland Community College (PCC)where she specializes in teaching marketing courses. Heather is dedicated to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where all students feel seen, heard, and capable of success. She is passionate about helping students use education for empowerment and social mobility. Prior to transitioning to academia, Heather had a 20-year professional career in the financial services industry in product and relationship management roles. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Rani D. Lightle, she/her
Rani’s careers in law and finance have primarily focused on educating and empowering women and other marginalized individuals to take ownership over the trajectory of their lives. She is dedicated to creating safe spaces for clients and community to live authentically and feel celebrated. A proud Portland native, Rani attended St. Mary’s Academy downtown and now serves on the St. Mary’s Alumnae Council. A first-generation college graduate, Rani holds Bachelor’s Degrees from both Western Oregon University (Theater and Art History) and Portland State University (Political Science). When not running a financial advising practice, Rani can be found meditating by a body of water, dancing at a concert, wine tasting or pouring into her journal using loads of glittery pens and stickers.

Iris Martin, she/her/ella
Iris Martin brings 15 years of experience in culturally responsive-centered leadership across youth services, healthcare, and education in both the Bay Area and the Portland metro area. Her work spans community-based organizations, public education systems, healthcare, and academia, with a focus on governance, organizational strategy, and systems-level change that center young people and communities most impacted by inequity. Her background includes senior leadership roles at Girls Leadership in Oakland and service as Board President of Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. Iris also teaches Communication Studies at the University of Portland and previously served as an adjunct faculty member at San Francisco State University.
Currently, Iris serves as an executive leader at Wallace Medical & Dental, a community health center providing low-barrier healthcare. She previously served as Interim Co-Executive Director at Outside In, supporting houseless youth and overseeing operations for the organization’s community health center. Across her roles, Iris partners closely with boards, funders, and public agencies to align strategy, accountability, and mission. Away from meeting rooms and strategy sessions, Iris enjoys reading, traveling, dancing, long-distance runs, and spending time with her daughter, husband, and dog.

Natalia Orozco, she/her/ella
Natalia is a fluently bilingual communications strategist focused on supporting the people and organizations working to make the world a better place. As a Vice President at Spitfire Strategies, Natalia supports a wide range of national and international nonprofit organizations with branding, messaging, narrative development, media relations, capacity building and communications planning. She’s worked with the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the Gates Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust, UnidosUS and countless other organizations working towards racial, social, economic and environmental justice.
Natalia holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Radio, Television and Film from Hofstra University, as well as a Master's degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Oregon. Raised in Washington County and a long-time resident of SW Portland, Natalia is passionate about her local community. In her spare time, Natalia enjoys cooking, reading, music, dancing and time outdoors with her husband and two pups.

Christina Marie Ridder, PhD, she/her
Dr. Christina Marie "CeCe" Ridder has dedicated her career to public service. Her extensive experience includes 16 years at The University of Texas at Austin and 7 years at Portland State University, culminating in her role as Assistant Vice President. In 2011, she earned her PhD in Higher Education Administration. Demonstrating her commitment to community, she co-founded the Beaverton Diversity Advisory Board in 2013 and contributed to Beaverton's inaugural Diversity Action Plan. Transitioning from PSU, she served as the Public Engagement Manager for the City of Beaverton for five years before joining Metro's DEI Department in 2024 as Policy and Programs Manager.
