Education Programming on Indefinite Pause

Actions taken by the federal government have resulted in funding reductions, delays, and ongoing uncertainties in the reliability of grants that nonprofits rely on nationwide.

As a result of this new economic reality, as of November 1st, 2025, all education services historically provided by our Education Coordinator (including scholarships) are on indefinite pause.

While some education-related services will continue and become embedded within other departments — for example, presentations from external community partners — HomePlate is reducing both staffing levels and the scope of education services available.
