To start making a difference
In 2005, HomePlate Youth Services was founded right here in Washington County to meet youth experiencing homelessness where they are. Today, we serve over 1,000 young people (ages 12-24) a year, and the need has never been greater.
The Home Team is HomePlate’s new community-based monthly giving program. It’s built on a simple idea: when neighbors support neighbors, young people get the stability they need to find their way home.
No matter how small, your monthly contribution helps ensure HomePlate can keep offering trauma-informed, age-appropriate services—hot meals, survival supplies, housing navigation, and more—for youth who often have nowhere else to turn.
What’s at stake right now
HomePlate has weathered significant losses from federal funding and policy changes, just as youth homelessness in our region has risen rapidly.
